Archie Gray → Archie Gray (footballer, born 1887) – This Gray was a footballer and cannot influence the football world now, a Leeds United footballer with the same name has made an appearance and could therefore be more recognisable in the future. Iggy (Swan) (Contribs) 14:26, 6 August 2023 (UTC)
- Support, the current player isn't sufficiently the primary topic - he may be in the future - but it would make sense for the historic player to be renamed and the name only to be changed to disambiguation. Crowsus (talk) 14:31, 6 August 2023 (UTC)
- Support per nomination and Crowsus. The footballer from 120 years ago is not more notable than Archie Gray (footballer, born 2006). Both men should be listed upon the proposed Archie Gray disambiguation page. —Roman Spinner (talk • contribs) 19:34, 6 August 2023 (UTC)
- Support as there is no clear primary topic: use current page as a disambiguator. Schminnte (talk • contribs) 01:39, 7 August 2023 (UTC)
- Support. No clear primary topic. -- Necrothesp (talk) 14:00, 7 August 2023 (UTC)
- Support, create DAB at base name.--Ortizesp (talk) 03:05, 8 August 2023 (UTC)
- Support. The 2006 player is the overwhelming WP:primary topic with the large majority of pageviews. In fact, most of the pageviews that the 1887 player is getting are intended for the current player. Station1 (talk) 05:57, 8 August 2023 (UTC)
- Support the 2006 one has 33,621 views compared with only 2,455[[1]] for this one. This one may be primary by long-term significance but clearly not by usage. Crouch, Swale (talk) 16:34, 8 August 2023 (UTC)
