I would think that this line:

Archibald Angus Charles Kennedy, 7th Marquess of Ailsa succeeded to the titles of 18th Earl of Cassilis, 20th Lord Kennedy, 7th Marquess of Ailsa & 7th Baron Ailsa on 31 May 1957.

Should read thus:

Archibald David Kennedy, 7th Marquess of Ailsa succeeded to the titles of 18th Earl of Cassilis, 20th Lord Kennedy, 7th Marquess of Ailsa & 7th Baron Ailsa on 31 May 1957.

You've got the wrong Archibald in there....
