Reference abbreviations?

Given that Wikipedia is not paper, I don't see any need to abbreviate the titles of works in the references. Spell them out so that if anyone wishes to verify the information they can more easily find the works. — Bellhalla (talk) 06:36, 14 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]
