Baseball's First Pitch
[edit]The four paragraphs in the baseball section appear to be taken verbatim from the Washington Post article in the external links. They should be rewritten. - Kycema (talk) 02:17, 11 April 2011 (UTC)
Archie Roosevelt
[edit]Didn't Roosevelt name one of his sons after Major Butt? - Morhange 06:11, 8 July 2007 (UTC)
Alternative History Novel
[edit]The story is clearly fiction, however, since Theodore Roosevelt, who berated Woodrow Wilson for his timid response to Germany and attitude toward U.S. participation in the First World War in general, is not likely to have associated himself with any plan to avert the war. Theodore Roosevelt thought that war was "bully, bully." - John Paul Parks (talk) 16:11, 7 November 2009 (UTC)
Incorrect info about Francis Davis Millet in this article
[edit]This sentence is incorrect: Millet's body was recovered after the sinking and was buried in Bridgewater, Massachusetts.[68] It should be East Bridgewater, Mass. (This refers to Francis Davis Millet.) Correct information can be found under Wikipedia's article on Francis Davis Millet.
