The claim that there are only 17 such turtles left in the wild is inappropriate. The cited sources (including the May 1 AP article) clearly state that no one knows how many may still exist in the wild, and contradicts this statement in the article about "17 are left". Additionally, the assertion that there are only 17 in the wild is unsupported as well. The statement had to be removed. - 1965Tim 20:30, 1 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]
