[edit]There appears to be limited info about the Appomattoc, but this consists mostly of English attacks against them. Perhaps it could be expanded to tell more about their own lives and their regional context.--Parkwells (talk) 16:25, 18 April 2010 (UTC)
Name meaning?
[edit]So, what does their name mean? Is it like the Ojibwe words aabamitig (swirling stream) or aabamadong (at the whirlpool)? This latter name is also the Ojibwe name for Fort Hope, Ontario.
