Problems with this article
[edit]- It doesn't seem to be incorporated, and isn't even a CMA. If these facts can be confirmed, they should be stated.
It may not physically exist today. Or, all the people may have left. We can't tell. The town is so small, it once moved, so it could now be somewhere else. We need today's verified location.- The county's web site makes no mention of this place. It seems odd a county wouldn't know of a town in its midst.

- See referenced material on Apple Springs schools ... indicates that there are people there. Over 200 students in the public schools. —ERcheck @ 04:46, 30 January 2006 (UTC)
- Thanks, I think, that solves the main concerns. I still wander if there is an official list of "official" towns. I can't find one at the state or county level. Ideally, Category:Towns in Texas would exactly match an official list. --Rob 05:40, 30 January 2006 (UTC)
Oh, it's still there. I grew up there (1976-1989) and have family in the area. It's not incorporated, but has a school, post office, and volunteer fire department, houses a ranger station, and has a couple of businesses. TimJohns 05:06, 20 October 2007 (UTC)
