Text and/or other creative content from Apple A12Z was copied or moved into Apple A12X on 08:58, 23 June 2022. The former page's history now serves to provide attribution for that content in the latter page, and it must not be deleted as long as the latter page exists.
This CPU is _exactly the same_ device as the Apple A12Z, but with one GPU core less _activated_. They are identical if you look at them with a microscope, and they have the same product code on the modules.
