[edit]- Writing and recording
When asked in May what the status of the album was, frontman Tim McIlrath told KROQ that the band was in the middle of the recording process. Please clarify what KROQ is.Asked later about the writing and recording process, frontman and vocalist Tim McIlrath said… Since McIlrath was mentioned previously in the same section, there's no need to reintroduce him."We kind of blocked a month off over the winter and said, "Let's all get together, get the rehearsal space, and start putting some ideas together," which is what we did. And then, we also blocked off a week or two at the Blasting Room after we arrived in Fort Collins to just kind of jam stuff out, get some new ideas going." This quote is a bit confusing. If its a quote within a quote, it should be written as: "We kind of blocked a month off over the winter and said, 'Let's all get together, get the rehearsal space, and start putting some ideas together,' which is what we did. And then, we also blocked off a week or two at the Blasting Room after we arrived in Fort Collins to just kind of jam stuff out, get some new ideas going." Note that the quotation inside the first uses a singular apostrophe (') rather than quotation marks (").The only hint given on the musical style of the album was Meteus' statement that… Who or what is Meteus? It isn't mentioned anywhere else in the article.- Sorry. That was a minor spelling error. It should actually be "Mateus", and it was mentioned earlier in the paragraph. - Musical style and themes
Appeal to Reason is considered by most critics… This is a weasel word, considering only Jon Pareles of The New York Times touched this subject.According to some critics… This is another weasel word, considering only Bill Stewart of PopMatters wrote this. There are quite a few quotes that are far too long. Consider rewording them or using a block quotes (see MOS:QUOTE).- None are longer than four lines or one paragraph. Timmeh!(review me) 17:20, 6 June 2009 (UTC)
- Promotion and release
What makes Twitter a reliable source?- It is the band's official Twitter page, and the sentence is simply stating that the band announced the video through their Twitter page. Timmeh!(review me) 17:20, 6 June 2009 (UTC)
- Twitter is about as reliable as MySpace (that being not very, even it is the band's official page). Maybe this would be more appropriate. — Σxplicit 18:51, 6 June 2009 (UTC)

This will be followed by a short UK in November… A short UK what?…which will also be supported by Thursday and Poison the Well. At first, it reads as the tour will be supported by the day Thursday. That should be clarified.
- Reception and sales
The singles released from Appeal to Reason did well on the music charts… Text in bold is not a neutral point of view.- You're omitting the context. It says they did well "compared to the band's previous releases". Maybe a bit of rewording to "did better than" would satisfy your concern, but it seems NPOV right now. - How about something like The singles released from Appeal to Reason charted higher on the music charts…?

Please take a look at the this table and reduce the length of the sample accordingly.- The 10% thing is only a guideline. Here, it makes sense to ignore it so the different parts (verse, chorus) and meaning of the songs can be understood by the listener. Timmeh!(review me) 17:20, 6 June 2009 (UTC)
- I'd have to argue the opposite, especially since I didn't learn anything new from the full sample that I wouldn't have learned from the first 21 seconds of File:Hero of War.ogg.
