Needs review
[edit]I've strengthened the text and added references from the 'usual suspects', plus the important monograph on the species by Heslop et al.. It should be reviewed to see if it's no longer stub class.
I think this particular butterfly species should be of 'medium' importance to the Wiki Lepidoptera project because of its iconic status (it appears on the covers of several important UK butterfly books, including South) and the fact that it appears to be an 'indicator species' of woodland habitat quality in southern England and Wales.
