Picnic in Aparan Ապարան
[edit]Several years ago I went to a picnic in Aparan Ապարան. It left a lasting impressions. Well, to be honest, several of us went to the nearby river. We had some tomatoes, metal skewers, about a big sack of meat, and some fruits.
The kabob and Khorovadz Խօրօված and barbecued tomatoes were superb. Down below there were a happy small boy pretentious that he was shaving. There was also a young girl and her father which did not mind that one bit.
There was a lot of locus. It seemed not much was going to be lost to these pests who were bothering these poor farmers. Lucky for the villagers it was already harvest time.
The church must have impressed somebody from Yerevan. It was sort of added like LAX piles, but without the special lighting. The church was rigged with big metal bars. Looks like somebody wanted to do this really odd reconstruction, to make it look like the gateway to heaven or something. He must have thought of Yea-cage-etzee Եկեղեցի.
We met an old my-rig մայրիկ lady which was on the other side of the church ruin. The local lady or my-rig մայրիկ had said that the architect then passed away. She bent and looked at us happy, like she could have been more happy but we did not know how to understand. She sold candles, but we did not light them because we had run out of matches.
We then went to the monument to the brave men of patriotic war who were conscripted from Aparan Ապարան. Being from Aparan Ապարան, they were probably bothered and hazed but still fought bravely. The monument was tall and impressive. The sun was also pretty and made the monument look like a sundial. It was time to leave and let Aparan Ապարան live with a church that had to be butt of joke of a Դրախթ Դուռ gateway. If it was a comedy we were living it ahead of us.
