Hey there, thanks for volunteering to review the article! I appreciate it. Basilisk4u (talk) 00:08, 6 May 2020 (UTC)
- Basilisk4u, I returned to remind you that you only need to source the "Awards and nominations" section in order for this GA to pass, but I see that somebody has since added a number of new entries to the list. These too will have to be sourced before the article can be passed. Gatoclass (talk) 08:37, 6 October 2020 (UTC)
- Thanks Gatoclass! I will get on it. Basilisk4u (talk) 16:25, 11 October 2020 (UTC)
- Hello again Basilisk4u, apologies for the delay in getting back to this. The article looks pretty much ready for promotion, but I'm thinking it would be better to leave it now until the Billboard Latin Music and Latin Grammy awards were announced so that the table can be completed, would that be okay with you? Gatoclass (talk) 12:15, 30 October 2020 (UTC)
- Gatoclass, if it's ready for promotion now, and the only expected change is to the table after the awards are announced on November 19, it should be promoted now. There's no reason not to AGF that the article will be updated properly a few weeks from now; after six months, this is not a reason to delay promotion any further. BlueMoonset (talk) 17:19, 30 October 2020 (UTC)
- I agree with this, it's not a lot of work to update the awards after winners are announced and I can update them when the time comes, if someone else doesn't beat me to it. I think we should finish the process now if you feel the article is ready. Thanks! Basilisk4u (talk) 19:25, 2 November 2020 (UTC)
- Basilisk4u, the reason I would like to see the table updated with the award results is because the GA pass template includes a link to the version of the article when it was passed. I can't speak for others, but I personally will often check the approved version to see how it differs from the current version. And I just think it would look very odd to have that link permanently pointing to a table frozen in time which does not include the results. The awards are only a week away so we might as well wait for them now IMO.
- Other than that, there is one other change I meant to mention earlier but didn't get around to, which is that I'd like you to tablify the discography section (ie the two albums). While not strictly speaking necessary for the GA, given that these are his main works, I think they need a better presentation than just a plain link.
- Apologies once again for the delay in returning to this discussion, I've had quite a few distractions this week. Gatoclass (talk) 11:54, 12 November 2020 (UTC)

After being unable to return to this nomination due to real life work commitments and a crippling back injury which sidelined me for many months, it's quite a relief to be able to close this at last! Apart from a few ambiguities in the text and some sparse punctuation here and there, this was basically a well written and well presented article which didn't need a lot of work to get up to speed. Congrats on some fine work Basilisk4u, and my thanks once again for your patience! Gatoclass (talk) 05:35, 1 December 2020 (UTC)
Separate page for Emmanuel (album)
[edit]We need a separate page for the Emmanuel album, it is one of the biggest Latin albums of the year. I already have the page content ready to go in my sandbox, but the link redirects to this page. I don't know how to undo a redirect - could anybody help me out? Basilisk4u (talk) 21:19, 19 June 2020 (UTC)
- Never mind, I did it! Basilisk4u (talk) 14:02, 20 June 2020 (UTC)

GA concerns
[edit]I am concerned that this article no longer meets the good article criteria due to the large amount of uncited prose, including almost everything in the "Career" section after 2019. Is anyone interested in fixing up this article, or should this go to WP:GAR? Z1720 (talk) 02:01, 27 October 2024 (UTC)
