Eligibility issues
[edit]@Roxedl:, breaking down the neccessary issues that would need to be fixed to make this passable for DYK (I thought it would be better here than in the nomination):
- The article is just long enough by readable prose, 1522 characters and 1500 is the minimum so that's ok.
- As a WP:BLP really everything needs to be cited to reliable sources to pass policy. At the moment sentences such as "Antonia Bolingbroke-Kent graduated from the University of Edinburgh in Modern History, before she began to work for the broadcaster ITV.", "She is a fellow of the Royal Geographical Society.", "She is the grandchild of Walter Couchman." and half the second paragraph have no citations. And that includes the hook fact.
- You're perfectly welcome to suggest other hooks for consideration by the way, I think there are other possibilities.
- The BBC article is a deadlink it seems, but its a good start. I think the article still leans too heavily on the subject's blog, books and interviews. More third party sources would help to strengthen the article.
- The total travelled is given as either 12.561 miles or 12.783 miles, where does the discrepancy come from? If its a world record an exact figure should be available?
