I am not going to be involved in this review, but it would be nice if someone made the proper template for this guy in the Category:American college football consensus All-American navigational boxes.--TonyTheTiger (T/C/BIO/WP:CHICAGO/WP:FOUR) 19:43, 30 September 2011 (UTC)

- I am back to review this after suggesting the template earlier. BTW, we still need many more templates to be made.--TonyTheTiger (T/C/BIO/WP:CHICAGO/WP:FOUR) 06:26, 9 December 2011 (UTC)
Need to address dab checker to the right.--TonyTheTiger (T/C/BIO/WP:CHICAGO/WP:FOUR) 23:45, 9 December 2011 (UTC)
Need to address reflink checker to the right.--TonyTheTiger (T/C/BIO/WP:CHICAGO/WP:FOUR) 23:45, 9 December 2011 (UTC)
Personally, I would avoid relinking to things linked in the WP:LEAD.--TonyTheTiger (T/C/BIO/WP:CHICAGO/WP:FOUR) 17:28, 9 December 2011 (UTC)
- Per WP:OVERLINK, "Generally, a link should appear only once in an article, but if helpful for readers, links may be repeated [...] at the first occurrence after the lead." Eagles 24/7 (C) 18:30, 9 December 2011 (UTC)
Although not necessary in the WP:LEAD you should state what year he played for TMI somewhere in the article.--TonyTheTiger (T/C/BIO/WP:CHICAGO/WP:FOUR) 17:02, 9 December 2011 (UTC)
- Done Added to College career section. Eagles 24/7 (C) 19:40, 9 December 2011 (UTC)
finalist for the Outland Trophy->finalist for the 1990 Outland Trophy.--TonyTheTiger (T/C/BIO/WP:CHICAGO/WP:FOUR) 17:02, 9 December 2011 (UTC)
I would probably link to 1991 Philadelphia Eagles season as well as all other team seasons specifically mentioned in the LEAD.--TonyTheTiger (T/C/BIO/WP:CHICAGO/WP:FOUR) 17:02, 9 December 2011 (UTC)
I would mention that between football and the Biggest loser, he has been involved in several Food services industry ventures.--TonyTheTiger (T/C/BIO/WP:CHICAGO/WP:FOUR) 17:04, 9 December 2011 (UTC)
Link to 1990 College Football All-America Team in LEAD and infobox.--TonyTheTiger (T/C/BIO/WP:CHICAGO/WP:FOUR) 17:19, 9 December 2011 (UTC)
-
- What about the infobox?--TonyTheTiger (T/C/BIO/WP:CHICAGO/WP:FOUR) 22:57, 9 December 2011 (UTC)
- It's already linked there (in "1990"). Eagles 24/7 (C) 22:59, 9 December 2011 (UTC)
Also, why do you say consensus here when it should be unanimous?--TonyTheTiger (T/C/BIO/WP:CHICAGO/WP:FOUR) 22:57, 9 December 2011 (UTC)
- I'll change it. Eagles 24/7 (C) 22:59, 9 December 2011 (UTC)
- Early years
Do we know where his father moved to?--TonyTheTiger (T/C/BIO/WP:CHICAGO/WP:FOUR) 17:28, 9 December 2011 (UTC)
- Done Added. Eagles 24/7 (C) 20:11, 9 December 2011 (UTC)
- College career
I am a bit confused on what type of institution TMI is (Postgrad boarding school, military academy, D-I AA, DII, DIII, NAIA, Juco, ???).--TonyTheTiger (T/C/BIO/WP:CHICAGO/WP:FOUR) 17:28, 9 December 2011 (UTC)
- Done Clarified. Eagles 24/7 (C) 19:40, 9 December 2011 (UTC)
Convert all team links to {{cfb link}}s. We want to link to team seasons here if possible to tell the reader about the teams.--TonyTheTiger (T/C/BIO/WP:CHICAGO/WP:FOUR) 17:36, 9 December 2011 (UTC)
- Done I changed links to general football program pages to {{cfb link}} but left the links to specific years intact. Eagles 24/7 (C) 19:40, 9 December 2011 (UTC)
- "Following the graduation of Tennessee's two starting offensive guards" should also link to the proper team.--TonyTheTiger (T/C/BIO/WP:CHICAGO/WP:FOUR) 23:03, 9 December 2011 (UTC)
Did any running backs set records behind him? quarterbacks? Did the Tennessee offense set any records?--TonyTheTiger (T/C/BIO/WP:CHICAGO/WP:FOUR) 17:36, 9 December 2011 (UTC)
- Done Added that his running back in 1990 led the SEC in rushing. Eagles 24/7 (C) 19:40, 9 December 2011 (UTC)
"Davis earned consensus All-America honors, receiving honors from the Football News,[8] the Walter Camp Foundation,[9] the Associated Press,[10] the Newspaper Enterprise Association,[11] and the United Press International.[12] He also earned All-SEC honors.[13]" needs to be clear on which things were first team. If all are first team, were there any other notable second teams?--TonyTheTiger (T/C/BIO/WP:CHICAGO/WP:FOUR) 17:36, 9 December 2011 (UTC)
- Done Added rest of first-team honors (he was a unanimous first-team selection). Eagles 24/7 (C) 19:40, 9 December 2011 (UTC)
- 1991 season
Do you have enough measurables to add a predraft measurments table?--TonyTheTiger (T/C/BIO/WP:CHICAGO/WP:FOUR) 17:51, 9 December 2011 (UTC)
- The only measurements I've found are his 40-yard-dash time and his bench press, which are in the article. Other measurements are not available on NFLDraftScout.com (which has players in its database from 2001 to now) and newspapers did not find them noteworthy at the time. Eagles 24/7 (C) 20:11, 9 December 2011 (UTC)
I don't do a lot of NFL athletes. Should you be using team season articles?--TonyTheTiger (T/C/BIO/WP:CHICAGO/WP:FOUR) 17:51, 9 December 2011 (UTC)
- Done Added. Eagles 24/7 (C) 20:11, 9 December 2011 (UTC)
- It seems like you missed quite a few.--TonyTheTiger (T/C/BIO/WP:CHICAGO/WP:FOUR) 23:26, 9 December 2011 (UTC)
- Those were intentional. If it says in the article, "The Atlanta Falcons traded the pick to the Packers for Brett Favre in 1992," I don't think "Atlanta Falcons" and "Packers" should have link to their respective 1992 seasons. Eagles 24/7 (C) 23:36, 9 December 2011 (UTC)
- 1992 season
Is there any further explanation on his being hit by a quarterback? I don't understand what happened.--TonyTheTiger (T/C/BIO/WP:CHICAGO/WP:FOUR) 17:51, 9 December 2011 (UTC)
- Done Clarified. Eagles 24/7 (C) 20:55, 9 December 2011 (UTC)
In the wild card playoff game needs a link to the NFL playoff season article.--TonyTheTiger (T/C/BIO/WP:CHICAGO/WP:FOUR) 17:51, 9 December 2011 (UTC)

When you say "two playoff games thereafter" link to the playoff season article.--TonyTheTiger (T/C/BIO/WP:CHICAGO/WP:FOUR) 17:57, 9 December 2011 (UTC)
- Later career
Where any parts of the salaries for the 1997 contract guaranteed?--TonyTheTiger (T/C/BIO/WP:CHICAGO/WP:FOUR) 18:00, 9 December 2011 (UTC)
- I've added the contract information for the 1996 contract, but the only information I can find about the 1997 contract is that he was offered it. He obviously agreed to the restructured contract, since his contract would have just expired at the end of the season instead of his being waived. Eagles 24/7 (C) 20:55, 9 December 2011 (UTC)
- After football
use the {{asof}} tag appropriately in the first paragraph.--TonyTheTiger (T/C/BIO/WP:CHICAGO/WP:FOUR) 18:03, 9 December 2011 (UTC)

- The show is still airing and he is in the finals. Eagles 24/7 (C) 20:55, 9 December 2011 (UTC)
- I assume finishing details will be update when available.--TonyTheTiger (T/C/BIO/WP:CHICAGO/WP:FOUR) 23:49, 9 December 2011 (UTC)
- Yes, of course. Eagles 24/7 (C) 00:00, 10 December 2011 (UTC)
I am putting this article on hold. If all of the concerns can be addressed within 7 days, I will promote it.--TonyTheTiger (T/C/BIO/WP:CHICAGO/WP:FOUR) 18:06, 9 December 2011 (UTC)
- Update The remaining issues are the toolbox points that I belatedly mentioned at the top.--TonyTheTiger (T/C/BIO/WP:CHICAGO/WP:FOUR) 23:55, 9 December 2011 (UTC)
