[edit]He was born in Nîmes, which makes him French. His famous father Antoine Court (Huguenot), was a Frenchman. With trepidation, I am removing the references to his being Swiss. He lived in Lausanne, Switzerland to which his famous father fled in 1730, however, he had been born in Nîmes, in France. Superslum 13:10, 6 July 2006 (UTC)
manner of death
[edit]The article has this:
- the "animal magnetism" of Mesmer (with whom he died in an electrical experiment, apparently of an electrically induced heart attack).
But I don't see any support for this or connection in Mesmer refs. Is there a word or phrase left out that would make more sense? 110.33.7.43 (talk) 10:38, 3 September 2010 (UTC)
