Anti-symmetric or skew-symmetric operator has more general mathematical meaning:

$(y,Ax)=(x,Ay)$

or equivalently, for those operators for which the adjoint is defined,

$A=-A^{*}$

Is the term prevalent in physics discourse? Is moving the article feasible?
