POV
[edit]Isn't this POV: "the most robust anti-terrorism force available"? C0N6R355 14:50, 15 April 2007 (UTC)
Not really. When we stood up the battalion, that was part of our mission statement. We were supposed to be rapidly deployable to any country and situation. Since the unit was a modified victor unit (infantry battalion), we had a larger S-2 department and had organic Combat Engineers. gabriel (talk) 16:22, 30 October 2008 (UTC)

Bad Latin
[edit]The battalion's motto, Vigilia Aeternus, is grammatically incorrect: "vigilia" is a first declension feminine noun of the nominative case, and the adjective "aeternus" should be in concord with it. Thus, it should read "Vigilia Aeterna" and the second word should end with an -a, not an -us (very much like Urbs Aeterna, the eternal city... Rome). Is this worth mentioning on the page? It's pretty starkly obvious to anyone with the background to read it. 214.3.138.234 (talk) 17:45, 21 September 2012 (UTC)
