Proposal for deletion due to lack of reliable sources

The primary citation for this article, "The Anthesphoria At Athens" from Littell's Living Age (https://babel.hathitrust.org/cgi/pt?id=coo.31924079579284&view=1up&seq=169) appears to be a modern work of fiction (published 1849), by an unknown author. It claims to be taken from a "Fraser's Magazine", and while I can find the magazine, I cannot find the original source of the story (this most likely could be done with enough time, but if the piece is accurately and fully taken from its original source, it does not change much.) There are no citations of any ancient sources or scholarship in regards to the basis of this story.

I have found a source to confirm the existence of the festival in Sicily, which is now present on the page. However, I removed the paragraph about Athens, as its presence in Athens does not have any reliable sourcing.
