What's the problem with NPOV? This guy was no superman, just a pilot who had "arse made of wood" so he could sit in an open cockpit plane for entire days dead calm. He was a hungarian from the szekler tribe, who are famously rugged mountain people of the Carpathians and much used to hardships of life. He also had a very good eyesight, which was much required in the pre-WWII era when IFR was unheard of.
