April 2005
While the current revision is indeed nonsense, the revision dated 23 Feb '05 http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Ant_and_Dec&oldid=12996565 is not, surely the page should be reverted rather than deleted.

- I've protected this page because of the vandalism. I'll leave it protected until tomorrow, but if anyone wants to edit it in the meantime, give me a shout and I'll unprotect. SlimVirgin (talk) 02:36, Apr 30, 2005 (UTC)
Style
It is referred to Ant & Dec as "Lads". Wikipedia isn`t a supporters site, right? The Articel needs another style.
Roman Catholics
This article is in the catgeory "Roman Catholics". Could we therefore have a mention in the article that A&D are Roman Catholics, with a source please? And clarify whether they both are, or just one, and if only one, which one? SP-KP 08:50, 4 December 2005 (UTC)
I'm not sure but I think Dec once wanted to be a priest, but I don't know if Ant is a Catholic --Ruddyell 15:00, 26 May 2006 (UTC)
from this guardian interview: here it states Declan is a practising catholic, it does not state about Ant.
Since the Guardian article only states that Declan Donnelly is a Roman Catholic, I moved that information to his individual wikipedia article. Why is this information relevant? Does religion play an important role in Donnelly's professional life? Most wikipedia articles do not cite people's religion. 31 January 2006.
Link to Poker Face
I don't know how to edit links, but the link for Poker Face needs to be removed/edited. It links to an article about a Japanese pop single, not the TV show to which it should. Can someone sort it please? Thanks.
Why not do it yourself? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 86.152.15.241 (talk) 19:12, 22 September 2007 (UTC)
Who are these people?
'In 2005, as part of the ITV Network's 50th birthday celebrations, they were back on television fronting Ant & Dec's Gameshow Marathon, a celebration of some of ITV's most enduring gameshows from the past 50 years. They also met youngsters like Ingrid Tamuyeye, Doja Atanda and Daniella Ashaju.'
Who are these 'youngsters' and what is the relevance of Ant and Dec meeting them? There is no reference or link or explanation as to who they are or why they are mentioned.FlubClub 21:47, 14 November 2006 (UTC)
- Doja Atanda appears to be a young athlete of limited notability, but the others appear to have no existence whatsoever outside of mirrors of Wikipedia, or of Bebo (I can't tell whether Bebo copied this article or vice versa). Whatever, they do not appear to have any relevance to Ant & Dec whatsoever, so I'm removing the sentence. -- Arwel (talk) 15:06, 26 November 2006 (UTC)
Awful article
I have to say, this article is in a bad way. It was full of "rumours" and "speculation". I just removed a part about them being homosexual, for instance. Please can someone keep an eye on this? 82.163.37.99 01:45, 30 December 2006 (UTC)
- I agree with you. The "Trivia" section is full of "citation needed"s. If nobody provides any cites within a week or two, chop them all out. -- Arwel (talk) 01:54, 30 December 2006 (UTC)
- Also agreed. One of the main sources is a Daily Mirror article. :| —Preceding unsigned comment added by 194.216.64.18 (talk) 09:14, 15 November 2007 (UTC)
Trivia
I'm new to wikipedia and don't want to go straight in and edit pages, but; "In September 2006, they were voted by the general public as number 6 in a poll of TV's Greatest Stars" is incorrect, they were #7. Sources: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0884746/trivia http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/TV's_50_Greatest_Stars (The line should also link to this page directly) Gryphon5 11:10, 18 March 2007 (UTC)
deleted section due to there only being one repeated fact —Preceding unsigned comment added by 86.8.215.161 (talk) 10:59, 24 February 2008 (UTC)
They are a couple?
They are a couple right?
- No they aren't, Ant is married for one thing.. Gryphon5 07:51, 22 March 2007 (UTC)
- They're a duo; they have never been a couple. Jim Michael (talk) 05:35, 7 June 2010 (UTC)
Which is which?
I think this article could do with pictures so we know which is which.
May 2007
I removed the "70% of people can't tell ant from dec" Daily Mirror "Reference" as it was clearly made up. The daily mirror is hardly a bastrion of journalistic integrity, and besides, how would you even go about conducting such a poll? If you showed people a picture and asked them to pick which they thought was right, people that didn't know the difference would pick correctly 50% of the time anyway... I think they just asked 10 people in the daily mirror office and 7 said they didn't know...
