Nomination for deletion
[edit]I came here to remove my nomination for deletion, but I see the issue has been closed. Thank you. --Jason Gastrich 21:07, 22 January 2006 (UTC)
- Personally, I found the move to delete rather amusing. How does one "accidentally" nominate an article about the former (and, in this case, first) president of a country for deletion "by accident?" Could it be that it was a person categorized as an atheist and that the nomination was made without even reading the article to determine notability? - WarriorScribe 21:10, 22 January 2006 (UTC)
- Curious, isn't it, that the thread running through all the AfDs just happens to be the articles are in the "Atheist" category... Mark K. Bilbo 21:17, 22 January 2006 (UTC)
- Notice they were all done in one day inside an hour or so, one right after the other: Gastrich contributions list --Censorwolf 21:38, 22 January 2006 (UTC)
- Yes, and Gastrich's commentary in his response to the RfC concerning him wants the reader to believe that he just happened to be wandering through Wiki and found some articles worthy of deletion. Curious that, after having seen a number of "Christian" articles nominated for deletion (nominated, I should add, by a professing Christian), to which he took offense, he just happens to notice several articles about atheists that he thinks should be removed. That's not the first time this sort of thing has happened, which gives us good cause to be suspicious of motive. - WarriorScribe 23:46, 22 January 2006 (UTC)
