Link to City of Safford
[edit]Would someone know where best to put and how to phrase that the Town of Safford, now City of Safford is named for Anson P.K.? Somerut (talk) 01:14, 6 May 2008 (UTC)
- If the current wording seems clumsy to you, then I would suggest utilizing one of the many redirects to this article such as A.P.K. Safford or Anson Safford. If an appropriate redirect does not exist then you can also use a piped link. --Allen3 talk 01:26, 6 May 2008 (UTC)
- I'm not sure I understand you or am stating myself well. I mean that the page for Safford the city links to Safford the man. I think this should operate vice versa, so people can learn more about Arizona's wonderful geography. And so I am asking for someone to recommend the best section for putting this link and how to word it, because the correct grammar seems to escape me right now. Does this make sense? Am I missing an answer you already provided. Humbly Somerut (talk) 06:06, 6 May 2008 (UTC)
- I think what you are referring to is a paragraph listing things named after Governor Safford (see Carl Hayden#After office for an example). In addition to the City of Safford you may also wish to include the Liberty ship that was named after the "Little Governor" along with one or two examples of schools in Arizona that bear his name. The big trick with such a list is finding appropriate sources for verifiability. --Allen3 talk 18:36, 6 May 2008 (UTC)
