I cleaned up the infobox, and did what I could to make the info presented therein reflect the first edition printing, as is preffered. The ISBN may be wrong, however I don't know the correct ISBN for the first edition so I left what was there previously. Also, I removed this from the top of the page:

Another Roadside Attraction (band) was also a popular American rock band active in the 1990s featuring Brian Rickman and Lindsay Hollis Batman.

It's a red link, and a Google search (including one or both of their names) turns up absolutely nothing (except for this Wikipedia page, of course). Somehow doubting it would pass Notability standards, even if a page was created. -- Antepenultimate 06:15, 3 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Disambiguating Vatican

[edit]

LOL... trying to disambiguate Vatican in this sentence isn't easy... are these killer monks likely to have been in the service of the City State, or did they report direct to the Holy See? I can't bring myself to put Holy See in the context even if it's correct from a syntactical point of view, so have plumped for Vatican City unless someone wants to correct me :-) ~ Veledan | Talk | c. 14:28, 11 August 2005 (UTC)[reply]

This is not brain science or rocket surgery. What you call the Holy See IS what you call the City State. Distinction without a difference. Also, the See negotiates international treaties on behalf of the City State.

Doubleday was a Roman Catholic publishing house ?

[edit]

Is this phrase "holdovers from when Doubleday was a Roman Catholic publishing house" correct? From the cite, it appears to be stated or inferred in one of Tom Robbin's afterwords in later editions of the book. One of Doubleday's many imprints was dedicated to Catholic publications, but that was a small subset of what Doubleday was publishing. Maybe it would be more accurate to say "holdovers from when Doubleday had a Roman Catholic publishing division". PatConolly (talk) 05:10, 17 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]
