Peer Review
[edit]I think this article is quite good. However, I think that your lead could be slightly longer. The lead should give a good summary of the article or of Fletcher's life, as opposed to a single sentence which sums her up. What is she best known for? What's an interesting fact? These could be included in the summary. The overall article, the bulk of which is under "Career", is well-written and detailed, but there are a few places of awkward phrasing. In particular, the second paragraph under "Career" is one sentence and seems a little bit off. Furthermore, while the "Early Life" section is to the point and provides a sufficient amount of information, I think the mention of her high school could be moved from the first sentence to the next mention: "Upon graduation..." Finally, while you have a lot of references, none of them seem to be academic. This is not necessarily a problem, but more research can only improve your article. :)
Overall, great job!

Peer Review 2 - major adding required
[edit]hey novasnow, I think the page is looking great! however, you definitely need to add more to your page, I love that you added more up to date films but remember that you need to add a minimum of 500 words of new material. here are some tips
- maybe split up career, add a sub heading of early career where you can talk about her life as a dancer, and then add more up to date information about her directing career. as of now they all blend in and we want to acknowledge the fact that she is a director and has done so many great successful films! her directing should be more distinct and prominent.
- you need to expand more on her directing. what kind of techniques does she use? does she have a particular genre of film that she likes to direct? what made her want to become a director? remember when answering these questions to not add your opinion or any ″fluff″ stick with the facts. try and write passive writing style
- try and find more academic independent sources that talk about her. they will have more of an indepth on her life and her career and you will probably be able to find things to add
- take a step back and think what can be added to this page, maybe look at other pages just to spark some ideas of what to write about.
good luck! Giraffegirl99 (talk) 20:16, 29 February 2016 (UTC)
