Ann or Anne?
[edit]I think the correct spelling is 'Ann', eg. see the text on this picture even thought the accompanying text says 'Anne'. Similarly, this page has 'Mad Anne' in the title tag but 'Mad Ann' in the heading. Even though the references on this page universally use 'Anne', a cursory check on amazon.com seems to indicate they have been incorrectly transcribed.
I therefore propose that this page should be a redirect to Ann Bailey, rather than the other way around, as is currently the case. Thoughts? Natebailey 06:07, 15 July 2007 (UTC)
This page needs major edits to meet Wikipedia quality standards. I attempted to make some grammatical edits where possible, but could not make changes on the areas of factual accuracy / citations.

What?
[edit]the line "served in the fights against the American Revolutionary War" don't make sence. She fought against the war? a peace protester? or do you mean During the revolutionary war? Herogamer (talk) 15:23, 31 July 2010 (UTC)
incomplete links
[edit]Several of the wikilinks in this article link to disambuguation pages (e.g., Fort Lee and Lewisburg). It would be much more useful for readers (especially those like me who are ignorant of this subject) if the links pointed to the correct articles. LUxlii (talk) 02:29, 10 April 2011 (UTC)
- Added "West Virginia" to the Lewisburg wikilink, since that town has links to a Fort Savannah and, thus, seems most likely. However, the only Forts Lee I can find ( VA and NJ) are significantly more than 100 miles away. LUxlii (talk) 21:33, 20 May 2011 (UTC)
- The article currently states that Fort Lee was a local fort in the Kanawha Valley. The Kanawha River flows through West Virginia to the Ohio River, but the article links to Fort Lee, Virginia. This seems to be incorrect geographically, and the Fort Lee (Virginia) article implies that the post was built around the time of WWI. If the article is correct, my best guess is that there is no Wikipedia article for Fort Lee in West Virginia at the close of the 18th century. Canute (talk) 06:10, 17 November 2015 (UTC)
