[edit]Ms Bond once climbed all seven summits in aid of charity: a great achievement. to describe her as a mountain climber suggests that she does that sort of thing regulary (lke bonington or hinkes). she does not, it was just the once. her website is merely full of pictures of her with 'famous people' (and james bond) at flashy events. there's not a great deal of mountain climbing going on! the facts suggest that she is a fund raiser and socialite.
- You appear to be putting personal bias into your decision to edit this article. I really don't think that there is a set frequency one has to climb mountains to be a mountain climber! If someone who has climbed all Seven Summits isn't a mountain climber, than who is? Professional guides only?
- Then it leads down a slippery slope. How often does one have to climb to be a mountain climber? Two mountains a week? A lot of climbers have day jobs and don't climb often but are still climbers.
- You may not like her and you may think that she climbed the mountains for attention, and that's fine, but if someone who has completed the extremely difficult and rare feat of climbing all seven highest mountains in the world (and became the fastest woman ever to do so) isn't a mountain climber, than who is? Maybe Edmund Hillary, Reinhold Messner and that's it. --Mezaco 21:38, 2 May 2007 (UTC)
