I reverted to the image of Stohr climbing as I think it better shows her for what she is notable, that is a professional climber. See Michael Jordan for an example of a featured article of one of the most notable sportsperson which shows him playing basketball. I also removed the image gallery per WP:IG. You're free to make up your own rules. The rest of us are free to ignore them. WP:LEADIMAGE should be the guideline you reference.
