... that Polish-French author Anna Langfus was a Holocaust survivor and wrote novels which had her actual life interweaved within the fiction?

- Tragic life, on good sources, offline source accepted AGF. I thought it's "interwoven". I'd include her death in the life section. The names don't work yet. She can't be called Langfus before marrying Mr. Langfus, and her four names should all go the infofbox. Please check once more for spelling (suburd). I wonder if the plot should be narrated in the present tense when not in a plot section. --Gerda Arendt (talk) 21:10, 18 September 2020 (UTC)
- @Gerda Arent: I fixed the first issues and I suggest ALT1: ... that Polish-French author Anna Langfus was a Holocaust survivor and wrote novels which had her actual life interwoven within the fiction? I really don't think that the plot being in present tense makes sense, or else it would go back and forth between present and past tense due to other sentences in the section. - Never mind. I think I took care of the plot. SL93 (talk) 22:49, 18 September 2020 (UTC)
- I disagree about placing the death information somewhere else because I want it to flow nicely in order of her life to death. Where would I place the married names in the infobox? SL93 (talk) 22:58, 18 September 2020 (UTC)
I just checked the possible parameters for the writer infobox. There is no option for other married names - only for pen names. I also only see three names - her birth name, her first married name, and her second married name. I did add her two spouses to the infobox though. SL93 (talk) 01:25, 19 September 2020 (UTC)
- Thank you. - The tense switch is what you do, and I wanted you to consider changing. --Gerda Arendt (talk) 05:11, 19 September 2020 (UTC)
- @Gerda Arendt: What else needs done? SL93 (talk) 15:34, 20 September 2020 (UTC)
- This list of what I completed is to make it clearer for us and others -
- Interwoven in hook - fixed
- Last names in article - fixed
- Spelling mistakes in article - fixed
- Present tense plot - fixed
- Four names in infobox - I only see three and I don't see an area for married names in the writer infobox. I did add her spouses to the infobox which I think solves this part.
- Death in life section - I think that was just a suggestion, but I like chronological order for this article. SL93 (talk) 16:11, 20 September 2020 (UTC)
- Thank you, and sorry, I was out. My take on ALT1 is
- ALT1a: ... that Polish-French author Anna Langfus (pictured), a Holocaust survivor, wrote novels which had her actual life interwoven with fiction?
- --Gerda Arendt (talk) 20:14, 20 September 2020 (UTC)
- @Gerda Arendt: It's OK. Thanks for the review. SL93 (talk) 21:39, 20 September 2020 (UTC)
- I smoothed out the grammar in the article and am doing the same in the hook, promoting this edited version:
- ALT1b: ... that Polish-French author Anna Langfus, a Holocaust survivor, wrote novels that had her own life experiences interwoven into the fiction? Yoninah (talk) 22:14, 24 September 2020 (UTC)
- @Gerda Arendt: It's OK. Thanks for the review. SL93 (talk) 21:39, 20 September 2020 (UTC)
- Thank you. - The tense switch is what you do, and I wanted you to consider changing. --Gerda Arendt (talk) 05:11, 19 September 2020 (UTC)
