Deletion Prod
[edit]Agree with the contesting of prod. Award winning and internationally recognized author. --Oakshade 23:12, 2 December 2006 (UTC)
According to http://www.chchwritersfest.co.nz/programme/authors/Funder.html her first book sold over 100,000 copies in the UK alone, so that would seem to make her notable enough. A quick Google search found quite a few references to her and Stasiland, so I'd say she almost certainly meets the published authors, editors and photographers who received multiple independent reviews of or awards for their work requirement of WP:BIO. Certainly I've heard of the book even though I haven't read it. Mark Grant 23:33, 2 December 2006 (UTC)

[edit]The subject of this article wrote "This was brought home to me when I tried to correct the inaccurate Wikipedia entry on me. Each time I amended it, the wrong information was put back up. After three attempts I was "barred", by persons or algorithms unknown, from fact-checking my own life."

- It wasn't obvious to me what the issue or which account/IP it was or when. If there's still an issue, then editors with a conflict of interest can see WP:COI on how to progress. Widefox; talk 14:34, 9 November 2014 (UTC)
- I tagged the account above. Some is definitely WP:SOAP. NM 00:46, 19 October 2023 (UTC)
