This page should not be speedy deleted as an unambiguous copyright infringement, because... I have reworded and trimmed it further. Please review. --Quis separabit?17:42, 10 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]
There's no set number. Please re-word (wherever possible) all passages that are the same in the source and in your version. For example "Deprivation, hunger, substandard sanitation, and other maladies afflicting the ghetto's inhabitants led to epidemics of typhus and various other children's diseases. Many children ended up in the hospital due to violence and lack of proper hygiene. Many casualties resulted from attempts by Jews to pass to the Aryan side to smuggle food and other necessities into the ghetto" is still extremely close to the source, as it presents the same material in the same order using almost the same wording and identical wording in some spots. Read the passage, think about what you want to say, and then write without looking at the source document. Your version will almost invariably be shorter than the source. For the above example you might say that "Conditions were dire in the ghetto, with poor sanitation, disease outbreaks, and violent clashes with guards." Typhus is not a childrens' disease. It's a bacterial infection spread by lice. — Diannaa🍁 (talk) 22:46, 10 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]
@Diannaa -- Hi. I was keeping the sandbox version to work off in case the article was deleted. What does "revision deletion" mean? I don't want all the changes I have made to be omitted. Quis separabit?23:14, 10 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Wikipedia:Revision deletion is performed for several reasons, one of which is to completely remove copyright violations from the site. Each revision that contains copyvio will have to be revision deleted. This includes the material in your sandbox. — Diannaa🍁 (talk) 23:26, 10 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Working Stay off the article while I do tweeks. — Diannaa🍁 (talk) 23:34, 10 February 2018 (UTC) Done Current version is okay from a copyright point of view. New percentage: 8.3%. I will do revision deletion shortly, once you've had time to review my amendments. I am going to post links to some resources on your talk page so you can learn more about how to avoid copyright issues more effectively in the future. — Diannaa🍁 (talk) 23:58, 10 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]
