Contested deletion
[edit]This article should not be speedily deleted for lack of asserted importance because... Angelo Avramakis is by far the best bouzouki player in Australia and everyone who understands about Greek music has heard about him. This should be enough reason for this article to be kept on Wikipedia. He also has thousands of followers around the world on YouTube and Facebook. Everything written in this article is true. I am new to Wikipedia and I don't know how to use it very well yet. If there is anything else I need to do (such as add more information or related links) to keep this article on him online, please let me know ASAP.
- @Koltrevio: I've declined the speedy because there's an assertion of notability here via the TV appearance and working with notable performers. Whether this is enough to justify inclusion in Wikipedia still has yet to be determined since there is no sourcing in the article. Lemonfish99 in order to assert notability you need to show where Avramakis has received coverage in independent and reliable sources like newspaper articles and the like. Being popular as an artist isn't something that will give notability on here, although it does make it more likely that there will be coverage. Tokyogirl79 (。◕‿◕。) 06:23, 7 August 2016 (UTC)
- Thanks for the note but I haven't find anything significant in ghits to assert notability. Koltrevio (talk) 15:20, 8 August 2016 (UTC)
