Is it worth mentioning "Teen Angel" the character in Grease (film)--TimothyJacobson (talk) 12:36, 3 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

In responding to the above (I just wrote the FOLLOWING comment about the song done by the Acorns in 1958): There is a Teen Angel page on Wikipedia. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 128.63.16.82 (talk) 20:23, 25 August 2011 (UTC) The disambiguation page for "Teen Angel" mentions the character in "Grease".[reply]

1958 version done by the Acorns

[edit]

Come on now, why is it being deleted from here? If one of the other entries has the song that the Acorns did, make a note of it! Try looking on youtube (keywords: angel acorns) to hear the song I am writing here about. I did a version for my music website of that as well! — Preceding unsigned comment added by 128.63.16.82 (talk) 20:21, 25 August 2011 (UTC) (on youtube, I see record label giving the credit to V. Catalano & D. Derkach) — Preceding unsigned comment added by 128.63.16.82 (talk) 20:25, 25 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I have put the 1958 reference back in on Jan. 3, 2012, and have included the composing credit I noted in the paragraph above. If that reference is deleted, I *demand* that you explain it here! — Preceding unsigned comment added by 128.63.16.82 (talk) 17:55, 3 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]

The reference to the 1958 version done by the Acorns was missing when I looked on Feb. 10, 2012. So what is the explanation? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 128.63.16.82 (talk) 18:49, 10 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Disambiguation pages are not catalogs of every possible use of the ambiguous term. They are navigation pages to topics covered in Wikipedia. Each entry must either have an article or at least be mentioned in the related article linked in the description. The reason for this is that article material is (ideally) scrutinized for noteworthiness and subject to referencing, and disambiguation pages, as navigation pages that index article content, rely on articles to establish the validity of an entry. To put it another way, a disambiguation page is not the place to assert a use that is not supported by an article. The solution is straightforward: Create an article for The Acorns that mentions the song, then list it here.--ShelfSkewed Talk 19:07, 10 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]

I have to inform you that all I know about the Acorns is the "stub" information provided here. Someone needs to create a stub article about the Acorns, and I am not in the situation to do it myself. The song seems to be among (or closely resembles) some old listening experiences of mine, and there was some crucial overlooking (when I was a child) of my interest in music. I did do an electronic version (no singing could be provided) on a music web site. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 128.63.16.82 (talk) 21:34, 14 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]
