Rewrite
[edit]Dr. Blofeld (talk · contribs) created this page citing Ouwehand's Hateruma (1985).[1] This version was completely off base, however, because he quoted Ouwehand's book out of context. Angama is NOT mythical creatures as this version implies. They are roles played by villagers. In addition, the page name was pretty bad. This is about a Yaeyama-specific practice, not a Ryukyu-wide one. People from the Okinawa Islands do not consider Angama as their own culture. --Nanshu (talk) 08:15, 13 July 2013 (UTC)
