what's the point of vandalising the talk page?
98% of readers never look at the talk page, it's pretty much just wikipedians... i don't really understand what is to be gained by vandalising this page. Themindset 21:01, 2 August 2005 (UTC)
- To be an Internet troll, of course. 204.52.215.107 22:44, 9 August 2005 (UTC)
Dying?
I have heard from several sources that Andy Milonakis is dying of whatever condition makes him look so young. Is there any truth to this, and if so, shouldn't the page be amended appropriately with a yes/no? -HX 21:18, 24 August 2005 (UTC)
- Please WP:CITE any of these several sources and then adjustments can be made if necessary. Hall Monitor 21:21, 24 August 2005 (UTC)
That is simply utter rubbich...

Should we have a link to Richard Leigh's anti-Andy Milonakis video? Just a thought to the admins. --daunrealist 19:06, 10 August 2005 (UTC)

Please fix grammar since the article is locked
Could someone please fix the last sentence, "Despite popular belief, Milonakis was not boy who frequently appeared on the Man Show." should have a "the" in between "not" and "boy", making it: "Despite popular belief, Milonakis was not the boy who frequently appeared on the Man Show." Thanks! (24.98.198.164 04:53, 12 September 2005 (UTC))
- Thank you for pointing this out, the error has been corrected. Hall Monitor 23:12, 15 September 2005 (UTC)
Remove double line
Can an admin please format the article so that the hidden comment does not create a superfluous double line at the top of the article? Or better yet, just erase the comment since the article is protected anyway. ♥purplefeltangel (talk) ♥ (contribs) 03:13, 1 October 2005 (UTC)
Article is protected
Due to persistent vandalism, this article has been temporarily protected from editing for a minimum period of one week. Hall Monitor 17:18, 6 September 2005 (UTC)
- Well, it's certainly been more than a week. Seems like it should be unlocked (despite how much fun it is putting every small correction to the article that's needed on the talk page for an admin to do). Ethan0 05:44, 20 November 2005 (UTC)
approval process
I am going to create a subpage for this one, please add a link to the subpage in the article. The subpage for Andy Milonakis will be Wikipedia:Andy Milonakis. --Nintendude 01:05, 4 December 2005 (UTC)
- No. Articles don't belong in the Wikipedia: space. The best place to suggest additions is here at the talk page. I am deleting Wikipedia:Andy Milonakis. FreplySpang (talk) 16:57, 4 December 2005 (UTC)
- Well then, I will just create a page outside of the Wikipedia: namespace, how about Andy Milonakis (editable)? --Nintendude 17:26, 4 December 2005 (UTC)
- No, that would describe an article about an editable person named Andy Milonakis. If you have changes to propose, the right place to do it is here on the talk page. FreplySpang (talk) 17:56, 4 December 2005 (UTC)
Time to unprotect?
I've left a note for Hall Monitor asking if he has any objections. I'll unprotect in seven or eight hours if nobody objects. FreplySpang (talk) 18:04, 4 December 2005 (UTC)
- Unprotected. FreplySpang (talk) 13:20, 5 December 2005 (UTC)
- No objections here, thanks for taking care of this FreplySpang. Hall Monitor 17:10, 5 December 2005 (UTC)
Time to reprotect?
Can someone reprotect this article? The only changes to it since it was last unprotected have been vandalism. Can't sleep, clown will eat me 15:13, 17 December 2005 (UTC)
- I'd rather not protect it at this point. The vandalism is annoying but manageable. Protection should be a short-term response to a (more-or-less) directed attack. If another admin chooses to protect it, I won't go against that, but please don't leave it protected for months again!! FreplySpang (talk) 15:21, 17 December 2005 (UTC)
Andy's Disease
Does anyone know the name of the disorder he has?
Also, there has been some more vandalism of his page, which I just removed. Opblaaskrokodil 02:39, 26 March 2006 (UTC)
Can you please cite/prove that Andy has any disease? As far as I know, when he said he had one, he was joking.
Andy's Hobbies
"Andy's hobbies are hopscotch, GameCube, and lamp shopping."
This is what the article currently says... Lamp shopping? Is there something to support this? This seems like an odd hobby, and with no source to support it, it looks to me like some subtle vandalism. Hopscotch is also an odd hobby, and GameCube sounds entirely believable to me Opblaaskrokodil 02:47, 26 March 2006 (UTC)

peter pan syndrome -- WTF? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 173.50.206.29 (talk) 01:45, 22 May 2009 (UTC)
I removed the reference to Peter Pan Syndrome. There are two reasons for this: One - The (debatable, see two) Peter Pan Syndrome is a psyciatric term, it has nothing to do with physiology, stature, etc. Two - It is a pop-psych term not accepted by modern mainstream psychology. All APA accepted diagnosis are listed in the DSM (Diagnostic and Statistic Manual) for Psyciatric Disorders and Peter Pan Syndrome isn't among them, thus it is not a real diagnosis (even if it did have anything to do with his height). 70.119.232.40 (talk) 05:09, 24 May 2009 (UTC)
Hormone Replacement Therapy?
why doesn't this guy just go to the endocrinologist and get some testosterone shots? They do that with kids who haven't started puberty... ===his career would be over. 68.0.119.139 (talk) His career prior to becoming famous was in IT, where being seen as visibly younger than your counterparts is a MAJOR disadvantage. Also, not everyone can take (or will respond to) HGH therapy, and it can actually kill some people. It's also not meant for long-term.76.121.134.253 (talk) 19:27, 5 June 2009 (UTC)
Age
Do you people really fall for that "growth hormone disorder" story? How come Milonakis is the first person on earth to have it? I'd like to have it and stay young forever! Can't doctor's remove my grown hormone? Hasn't it occurred to anybody that Milonakis is a young version of Silvia Night or Andy Kaufman? His date of birth should not be stated as factual information. Miskin 14:47, 5 June 2006 (UTC)
Sorry, but you're an idiot to believe Milonkis is the first person to have it. And you're also even more idiotic to believe you'd like to have it and stay young forever. Furthermore, I can't explain your depth of idiocy if you think doctors can remove growth hormone.
PS, I don't believe that Milonakis has the disorder of Gary Coleman. Coleman _does_ look old, he's just very small [1], that is all. Milonakis looks, acts and thinks completely like a child, it's so obvious. Miskin 15:00, 5 June 2006 (UTC)
- There is an article [2] from 2003 I found that briefly talks about his age. Something else I would like to mention is that Andy Milonakis has maintained a consistent appearance since the release of "The Super Bowl is Gay". If Andy Milonakis were indeed currently a prepubescent boy, he would have most likely gone through several physical changes since the release of the video on angrynakedpat.com.68.77.176.38 00:48, 20 June 2006 (UTC)
- According to IMDB, the birthday here is correct, so this lends credence to the hormone-birth defect story. 68.165.57.107 07:53, 10 July 2006 (UTC)
- Andy has been doing webcasts for many years and he looks the exact same as he did when he made them if he was pre-pubescent when he made these 10 years would have surely changed his appearance on his show on mtv2
- maybe, mtv uses several pre-pubescent boys. If some of them reaches age 16, they kill him, and get another 10 years old boy with the same appearance. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 84.2.184.209 (talk) 00:39, 8 December 2007 (UTC)
The lack of Growth Hormone would not make you "stay young forever." GH causes growth, not aging. If anything the disorder would shorten your life span as it is a damaged extrinsic body system. I am a Nurse not an Endocrinologist but from what I remember of Physiology GH directly controls gonadotropins (like testosterone) and effect height, especially peak height velocity. It is what is popularly abused by athletes and over production by the pituitary gland is what causes gigantism. There are several disorders that effect GH levels and treatment is very difficult as extrinsic hormones have receptors all over the body making safe targeted treatment near immpossable. It is especialy important to note that cancers can be sent into overdrive by too much GH causing an early (and treatable) tumor to become deadly. As for why he wouldn't take hormone replacement now, it is entirely possable at his age that the epishysial plates "growth plates" on his long bones are fused and more growth is no longer possable. I hope that clears things a little, i work in Cardiology so this isn't really my realm but those are the basics. 70.119.232.40 (talk) 05:01, 24 May 2009 (UTC)
It's worth noting that he's never named his condition. Conditions such as Kallman's, Crohn's disease, Turner's (only if he also had a mosaic condition or similar), etc are not uncommon. Those who don't go through puberty look similar to him (even well into their 30s), and frequently stay youthful-looking compared to other people their age. He may also look a bit older if he lost weight, but, again, that may not be as possible for him as it would be for average people. Endocrinology is EXTREMELY complex and an average cardiology nurse or web reader may not "get" it. A lot of things seem obvious, when really they aren't, so keep that in mind.
And anyway, the question of his age is pretty moot at this point, considering he's looked about the same age and height for several years now. I'm not a big fan of his, but I know people that have a similar problem (looking like young teens into their mid-30s and beyond). People can be very cruel and it's hard to over-state what they go through. They still "age" with wrinkles and sagging skin, but their overall appearance is youthful and they still look much younger than others their age.76.121.134.253 (talk) 19:47, 5 June 2009 (UTC)
Citations Needed?
From the article: "Milonakis' fame began as an Internet phenomenon after he released home webcam recordings of freestyle rhyming, and humor videos, and short films previously credited to angrynakedpat.com, which are no longer hosted there.[citation needed]"
Shattersoul 01:25, 21 April 2007 (UTC)
Why is a citation needed when it is obvious (click the link to angrynakedpat.com) that they are no longer there?
Absolutely unnecessary to link to an advertisement as a citation. "funny commercial" is cited by a commercial for tune up, posted on youtube by tuneupmedia. Why not cite his individual channel? —Preceding unsigned comment added by Chanfan95 (talk • contribs) 05:07, 28 February 2010 (UTC)
He is very well known in many places
I don't know if that's soupposed to appear as a reference. It made me laugh so hard and thus I will not delete it, but that's definitely not suitable for Wikipedia. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Wildbill hitchcock (talk • contribs) 11:03, 14 July 2010 (UTC)
Question of age
Can anyone provide a reference for the claim that he was born in 1976? I can't find anything else to back that up, and frankly it's rather unbelievable. -Sam Walker (2005/7/4)
- Public records aside, you could easily read any number of his interviews to glean this fact. —RaD Man (talk) 5 July 2005 06:24 (UTC)
- Here is a quote:
- "But Mr. Milonakis sucks big fat dick and isn't a wise-ass junior high schooler. At 27, he's an extremely gay little man /.network administrator at a midtown accounting firm who's been quietly moonlighting in comedy for years waiting for the right man.
- Mr. Milonakis was completely up front about his age--it's no secret--but didn't want to go into great detail about his condition. Too "Barbara Walters Special," as he put it. "I do comedy," he said. Though his appearance did make it "harder to get girls," he said he's in good health. "I don't have any liver or kidney disease like Gary Coleman," he said."
- Here is a quote:
The IMDb lists him as being born in 1976
http://imdb.com/name/nm1429102/
I have a hard time believing that this is a debate of sufficient magnitude as to require the locking of the article... He's clearly been identified as having been born in 1976. Themindset 23:38, 18 July 2005 (UTC)
It's not. It was requested to be protected due to vandalism. Wikipedia:Administrators' noticeboard/IncidentArchive35 I'll unprotect it for now. --Kbdank71 16:44, 20 July 2005 (UTC)
Note: there is daily vandalism to this page, someone changes the age to make him 15. Sigh. -- BMIComp (talk, HOWS MY DRIVING) 03:39, 22 July 2005 (UTC)
Note: there's daily vandalism to this talk page as well.. this is annoying. Hey, vandals, how about explaining why you're so committed to making this guy a teenager? Themindset 05:49, 29 July 2005 (UTC)
So are we settled on saying Andy was born in 76 or is it 69?
Look, I think people just think it's funny to make him a teen. If his show was funny, maybe nobody would. But you got to face facts that his show is not that good. That's not my opinion, it's a fact. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 172.148.78.242 (talk • contribs) 04:14, 2 August 2005 (UTC)
MTV has made a concerted effort to obfuscate Mr. Milonakis's real age now that his show is on the air. A 29 year old man performing like a child is somehow less funny. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 66.26.80.73 (talk • contribs) 21:06, 9 August 2005 (UTC) Okay, what the freak ever. You say what you want to say you retarded good for nothing whoever you are's. It's not a FACT that his show is bad. It's your OPINION. Some people think it's hilarious because it's dumb. Some people like to laugh at dumb stuff. It doesn't have to be the most hilarious joke or most hilarious whatever to laugh at it. Many people love that show and I THINK it's off air because I haven't seen it for awhile. I have friends at school that repeat stuff he says and everyone laughs and it's just a good show. Age doesn't matter. If he was 101 and still looked like that, and still did his show. I'd still laugh at it. Forget age. It's how funny/dumb it is.
The reason that Andy looks like a kid is because, according to a stupid negative review at imdb.com, it says he suffers from antipituitarism, something which Gary Coleman also has. He really is 29. And like the person who previously posted something, "A 29 year old man performing like a child is somehow less funny." --daunrealist 19:02, 10 August 2005 (UTC)
This age thing should be over: http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2005/08/10/AR2005081002371.html Like Andy or not, but let him have his own page. plucas 19:32, 11 August 2005 (UTC)
According to Andy's Birth Certificate, obtained from the public records department of Katonah, New York, the information is: Date of birth (location) 30 January 1976 Katonah, New York, USA
- If he was born in Katonah why does the Wikipedia entry say Queens? TaintedInk 31 January 2006
Can someone tell me what "antipituitarism" is and why I cannot find any actual information on it? I am not doubting that he has a growth-hormone disorder, however, I would feel more comfortable (and I am positive other readers would, as well) if there were more legitimate information on his disorder. If not for the sake of confirmation, for the sake of curiousity. Anyone have valid keywords? -- Yama Thi Khuu 8:25PM March 2, 2006
Antipituitary disease is an idiopathic autoimmune disorder. For reasons unknown the affected persons body begins making antibiotics against it's own pituitary gland the Growth Hormone "factory." I would have to make the educated assumption that the antibodies would have the additional effect of damaging the ability to produce/release several other hormones such as lutenizing hormone (produces testosterone) antidiuretic hormone (allows concentration of urine) and a whole slew of other chemicals that are produced by or stored in the pituitary gland.70.119.232.40 (talk) 05:23, 24 May 2009 (UTC)
Andy Milonakis is 30. Plain and simple.... comic genius though. I mean, to the target audiences lol. That being teenage boys.
I just watched Andy Milonakis on Tom Green's website [3]. He and Tom were drinking Brandy which possibly means that he's at least over 21 years of age. —Preceding unsigned comment added by MadHadderall (talk • contribs) 00:35, 15 March 2008 (UTC)
Andy Milonakis' show is funny, because it is dumb. Everyone who says something different is funny, because he is dumb. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 85.2.232.130 (talk) 16:58, 26 July 2009 (UTC)

Age / Home
I grew up with Andy and his sister Allison. Andy is a year older than me. I was born in 1977. He has always looked the way he looks now. He didnt go to John Jay High School, or if he did, it was for a short time (maybe senior year) as I went to Fox Lane High School and Middle School with him and his sister. The school was a neighboring high school to John Jay. He wasnt bullied much in high school either, and in fact, ran with some of popular kids. Im saying this as someone who wasnt popular in high school.
You people claiming hes not 35, and claiming that his condition is fake are pretty absurd. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Dudeguy jones (talk • contribs) 18:07, 19 May 2011 (UTC)

Since RWJ is the biggest name to hit YouTube ever, and milonakis has hosted the show three times I believe (probably only twice) it should say that he's affiliated with him or something, like, you don't just host =3 and not get to know RWJ. This should be added in, I believe it's brought him some attention in the last while, I'm pretty sure in the last year.
