The births of four people named Andrew Fisher were registered in rugby league areas circa 17 November 1967, they are; Andrew John Fisher (mother's maiden surname Thompson) birth registered during October→December 1967 in Widnes district, Andrew Robert L. Fisher (mother's maiden surname Coram) birth registered during October→December 1967 in Bradford district, Andrew Ronald Fisher (mother's maiden surname Grice) birth registered during October→December 1967 in Lower Agbrigg district, and Andrew Michael Fisher (mother's maiden surname Butterfield) birth registered during October→December 1967 in Leeds district, are any of these Andy Fisher? Strong support Andy Fisher (footballer) gets 2,434 views, Andrew Fisher gets 1,858, Andrew Fisher (political activist) gets 328, Andrew Fisher (sprinter) gets 38, Andrew Fisher (physicist) gets 37, Andrew Fisher (Scrabble) gets 34 and Andrew Fisher (Shazam) gets 3 compared with only 88[[1]] for the rugby league player. Support and move Andy Fisher (footballer) → Andy Fisher. User:Crouch, Swale has presented good evidence that the footballer article has vastly more views than the rugby leaguer article. There's no reason we should shove the Andys in with the Andrews, though, if that's not how they're known. We can have separate primarytopics for the different forms (for example, see separate dabs/articles for Don Smith, Donald Smith, Donnie Smith). Dohn joe (talk) 19:50, 2 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]
I would point out that 2,434 v 1,858 is not a significant different but we don't know how much difference there is between "Andy" and "Andrew" though, they are the same name per WP:DABCOMBINE but may be different per SMALLDETAILS if only 1 commonly uses 1 form. I'd just have no PT for both forms and anyway we would need to fix the links first and PT swaps can cause external link problems. Crouch, Swale (talk) 20:20, 2 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]
