Separating by version

[edit]

While Google called Android 4.1 to 4.3 all Jelly Bean, each of the three major versions were released as major updates to Android and as an increase in the API number. The page should be separated into different sections for the features of 4.1, 4.2, and 4.3 since that is how it is generally viewed.Hiatta (talk) 17:26, 15 July 2014 (UTC)hiatta[reply]

As explained in the article, 4.2 and 4.3 were merely service packs. This article treats 4.1 through 4.3 as a single series of releases with two updates. ViperSnake151  Talk  04:31, 8 August 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Android Jelly Bean - Nougat Wiki Pages support status incorrect

[edit]

Android Jelly Beans-Android Nougats Support Status is Incorrect. I would like to Edit there support status according to APK Mirror Website & Monitor the status of them if any changes accure. May I have your guys permission please? I was confirmed by the Official Google Tech Guys that as long as Android Jelly Bean is still supported by Google Play Services, Android KitKat-Android Nougat will still receive support from Google API Services.WikiEPL (talk) 23:39, 30 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Google Play Services are separate from the Android operating system. The versions of Android for which you have continually edited the support status value are not supported by Google for security or feature updates, which makes them officially unsupported by any real measure. These APK mirror sites are not valid references and appear to be spam. Tdc42 (talk) 06:31, 31 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]
