Edit
[edit]I have removed the sentence "The book was panned by critics and proved to be a commercial failure." as it is not referenced, and although I haven't found the time to find counterproof, the reviews I've read have been mostly positive, or certainly not negative enough to warrant such a claim. About the Author
[edit]At publisher(s) Random House and Penguin Random House:
- About the Author : http://www.randomhouse.com/author/results.pperl?authorid=6470 is now about the British illustrator Andrew Davidson (illustrator), not this Canadian writer.
- Andrew Davidson on Andrew Davidson : http://www.penguinrandomhouse.com/authors/6470/andrew-davidson is about and written by the Canadian writer, probably. As a teen he hoped to be a hockey player.
Neither tidbit supports our lead paragraph so I deleted the citation, leaving this page unreferenced.
- "The Gargoyle—About the Author" http://doubleday.com/thegargoyle/author.html now redirects to a top page for the publisher imprint.
So I deleted that from External links.
Meanwhile I added a couple of informative External links. --P64 (talk) 22:53, 31 May 2017 (UTC)
- Also I added a couple of informative External links at Andrew Davidson (illustrator), including his official website. --P64 (talk) 23:29, 31 May 2017 (UTC)
