Very true. Carly Simon's grandmother Asuncion Elma Maria Heinemann del Rio was born in Cuba of unclear ancestry (probably 50/50 Castilian Cuban and African Cuban), her husband Frederick Heinemann was a native Pennsylvanian, born to a German father, immigrant from Lower Saxony. http://www.geni.com/people/Elma-Heinemann/6000000015109385807
