– no clear WP:PRIMARYTOPIC per page views [1] Joeykai (talk) 18:05, 5 August 2023 (UTC)
- Oppose. There's only one Andre Jackson. There's also an Andre Jackson Jr., but those titles are not identical and there are hatnotes on each article that avoid any possible confusion. There's no problem with the current setup. Station1 (talk) 06:07, 6 August 2023 (UTC)
- Support per nomination. No indication that Andre Jackson is more notable than Andre Jackson Jr. whose entry contains 13 inline cite, all of which reference him as "Andre Jackson", not as "Andre Jackson Jr." Alternatively, would also support retaining the existing main title headers for both men and deletion of the ultimately unnecessary Andre Jackson (disambiguation) page, per WP:ONEOTHER. As indicated by Station1, there is already a hatnote atop each man's entry, pointing to the other. —Roman Spinner (talk • contribs) 20:06, 6 August 2023 (UTC)
- Support. Both are called Andre Jackson. The fact that one uses a suffix and the other does not is utterly irrelevant. No obvious primary topic. -- Necrothesp (talk) 14:56, 7 August 2023 (UTC)
- Support the other generally has more views and the fact the other is naturally disambiguated doesn't make this one primary. Crouch, Swale (talk) 16:26, 8 August 2023 (UTC)
- Oppose. The two articles already have separate names so there is no need for a disambiguation. This is the only Andre Jackson article. Spanneraol (talk) 17:12, 8 August 2023 (UTC)
- Not how disambiguation works. -- Necrothesp (talk) 14:48, 9 August 2023 (UTC)
- Sure it is.. it exists to help identify articles that have the same name. These two articles already do not have the same name. Spanneraol (talk) 15:07, 9 August 2023 (UTC)
- Right. If someone were to propose moving Andre Jackson Jr. to Andre Jackson, then there would be a case for this move too. But as it is, disambiguation is handled by the hatnotes. There's more than one way to disambiguate. Station1 (talk) 18:40, 9 August 2023 (UTC)
