Hello, I am planning on reviewing this article for GA Status, over the next couple of days. Thank you for nominating the article for GA status. I hope I will learn some new information, and that my feedback is helpful.
If nominators or editors could refrain from updating the particular section that I am updating until it is complete, I would appreciate it to remove a edit conflict. Please address concerns in the section that has been completed above (If I've raised concerns up to references, feel free to comment on things like the lede.)
I generally provide an overview of things I read through the article on a first glance. Then do a thorough sweep of the article after the feedback is addressed. After this, I will present the pass/failure. I may use strikethrough tags when concerns are met. Even if something is obvious why my concern is met, please leave a message as courtesy.
Best of luck! you can also use the {{done}} tag to state when something is addressed. Lee Vilenski (talk • contribs)
Please let me know after the review is done, if you were happy with the review! Obviously this is regarding the article's quality, however, I want to be happy and civil to all, so let me know if I have done a good job, regardless of the article's outcome.
Immediate Failures
[edit]It is a long way from meeting any one of the six good article criteria
-It contains copyright infringements
-It has, or needs, cleanup banners that are unquestionably still valid. These include{{cleanup}}, {{POV}}, {{unreferenced}} or large numbers of {{citation needed}}, {{clarify}}, or similar tags. (See also {{QF-tags}}).
-It is not stable due to edit warring on the page.

[edit]Lede
[edit]- Lede seems a bit short here, could we bolster this one up? Best Wishes, Lee Vilenski (talk • contribs) 14:58, 5 March 2021 (UTC)
- Done — using your suggestion below. PCN02WPS (talk | contribs) 05:03, 6 March 2021 (UTC)
- For instance, it covers that they had never won a medal, and that they sent 6 members, but doesn't cover how they actually did at this Olympics (what the article is actually about). Best Wishes, Lee Vilenski (talk • contribs) 14:58, 5 March 2021 (UTC)
- Done — a good point. I added best results for competitors to cover how they performed at the Games. PCN02WPS (talk | contribs) 05:03, 6 March 2021 (UTC)
- Lluís Marin Tarroch was the first Andoran Olympic snowboarder is totally lede-worthy material. Best Wishes, Lee Vilenski (talk • contribs) 14:58, 5 March 2021 (UTC)
- Done — added this as well as noting that Soulié was the first Andorran Olympic cross-country skier (making his second Games appearance). PCN02WPS (talk | contribs) 05:03, 6 March 2021 (UTC)
General
[edit]- The background info section should have some background on the Winter Olympics Best Wishes, Lee Vilenski (talk • contribs) 15:05, 5 March 2021 (UTC)
- Done — added information about total athletes and nations competing. Not sure whether to give more information (overall results, etc.) as that may be too broad for the scope of this particular article. PCN02WPS (talk | contribs) 05:04, 6 March 2021 (UTC)
- I was thinking more about a really rough overview of what the Winter Olympics is, and some particulars about the 2010 event. Best Wishes, Lee Vilenski (talk • contribs) 17:49, 6 March 2021 (UTC)
- I have added a bit and restructured the paragraphs to make a bit more sense. PCN02WPS (talk | contribs) 05:59, 7 March 2021 (UTC)

- Background needs to also specify (and source) the info from the lede, such as location and dates of the games. Best Wishes, Lee Vilenski (talk • contribs) 15:05, 5 March 2021 (UTC)
- Done — noted dates/location and sourced. Other four competitors not mentioned were added and sourced as well. PCN02WPS (talk | contribs) 05:04, 6 March 2021 (UTC)
- First use of every athlete needs to be linked. Sofie Juarez is not for instance. Best Wishes, Lee Vilenski (talk • contribs) 15:05, 5 March 2021 (UTC)
- Done — first mention of each athlete in their respective events' sections have linked. PCN02WPS (talk | contribs) 21:38, 5 March 2021 (UTC)
- On that note, is it Juarez or Juárez? Best Wishes, Lee Vilenski (talk • contribs) 15:05, 5 March 2021 (UTC)
- Comment: her article is Sofie Juarez, and four of the five references/external links on that page (the exception being Sports Reference) spell her name without the accent, so I'd lean towards leaving it off myself. PCN02WPS (talk | contribs) 21:20, 5 March 2021 (UTC)
- But you use both in the article. Best Wishes, Lee Vilenski (talk • contribs) 17:49, 6 March 2021 (UTC)
- That has been corrected. PCN02WPS (talk | contribs) 05:21, 7 March 2021 (UTC)

- 24th (of 34) in the combined race - the table does not say this. Best Wishes, Lee Vilenski (talk • contribs) 15:05, 5 March 2021 (UTC)
- Done — "(of 34)" and other equivalents have been removed. PCN02WPS (talk | contribs) 21:42, 5 March 2021 (UTC)
- I didn't mean that bit (I'd say that was fine), the table says 25. Best Wishes, Lee Vilenski (talk • contribs) 17:49, 6 March 2021 (UTC)

- Each section should ideally say who was the person who was the highest placed (unless there was one competitor). Best Wishes, Lee Vilenski (talk • contribs) 15:05, 5 March 2021 (UTC)
- Comment: are you referring to the best finisher from Andorra or the gold medalist in the event? If the former, that is mentioned while talking about each Andorran competitors' results. PCN02WPS (talk | contribs) 21:42, 5 March 2021 (UTC)
- Of the Andorans. Worth saying Gutiérrez was the highest placed Andorran at the Games. Best Wishes, Lee Vilenski (talk • contribs) 17:49, 6 March 2021 (UTC)
- That has been noted in the "alpine skiing" section. PCN02WPS (talk | contribs) 06:08, 7 March 2021 (UTC)

- and do so again at the - seems superfluous. Best Wishes, Lee Vilenski (talk • contribs) 15:05, 5 March 2021 (UTC)
- Done — changed to "He would go on to represent Andorra at the 2014 and 2018 Winter Olympics." PCN02WPS (talk | contribs) 15:59, 5 March 2021 (UTC)
- Any player images we can add? Best Wishes, Lee Vilenski (talk • contribs) 15:05, 5 March 2021 (UTC)
- Done — I added File:Roger Vidosa FIS-Slalom Hinterstoder 2010.jpg to the skiing section. File:Kevin Esteve.jpg is also available on Commons, but is a much larger image than the one of Vidosa and my attempt to use {{multiple images}} did not work very well. If you think it'd be better to include both pictures, I can put one under another. I did not find any pictures for any of the other competitors on Commons, though there are several on Flickr that are copyrighted (Gutiérrez 1 2, Juarez 1 2, Soulie 1, Tarroch 1 2). I moved the opening ceremonies image that was initially present in the article, to the snowboarding section (since Tarroch was the flagbearer), in order to balance out the images and avoid stacking them.
