Murders
[edit]I am not sure if this is correct or not, but in another book, a collection of old CW articles written during the time of Andersonville, an article stated that the Raiders constantly murdered other prisoners, usually one per day. And, the guards didn't do anything until the prisoners got the attention of them by alerting Henry Wirz (probably the only good thing he did for the camp)
Citations Needed
[edit]This article needs more citations, especially, since the topic is still so political. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 173.66.54.177 (talk) 17:54, 2 June 2011 (UTC)
New York
[edit]According to McElroy the raiders were largly New Yorkers. Why would this be? Drutt (talk) 10:21, 13 January 2012 (UTC)
