not the only species in the genus??

This article from 1972 seems to imply a lot of taxa were declared synonymous with Ancylotela and new species were found in the United States - I'm not a taxonomist so I don't feel entirely comfortable editing the article or splitting it into a genus article and a species article - could anyone from Wikiproject Beetles help? User:Wilhelmina Will User:Daniel Mietchen User:Ds2320 (I don't know how to link the Wikiproject directly so I'm trying to summon y'all for clarification.
