Ancient Trader is a turn-based strategy video game developed by Slovakian video game studio 4Kids Games. → Sounds a bit odd to say "video game" twice in the same sentence.
"and Xbox 360" → "and the Xbox 360"
"one-year" → "year long"
"six people" → "six individuals"
"common board games" → A bit vague. What kind of board games?

"He worked with artist Petr Vcelka to design" → His name and title is already mentioned earlier, no need to do it again.
"Vcelka was "obviously" took" → "Vcelka "obviously" took"

"Ancient Trader received positive responses from several video game journalists upon release." → "Ancient Trader received positive responses from several video game journalists upon its release."
"Most critics gave praise to the game's art design and gameplay but criticized the lack of key elements such as a saving feature and scoreboards." → "Most critics praised the game's art design and gameplay, but criticized the lack of key elements such as a saving feature and scoreboards."
