Frame of Reference
[edit]I think it is important to understand writer's frame of reference as in their polical, social, and religious bias.
Does anyone have any information on Mr. Kaletsky's bias?
This bio, as it stands, is pretty bland.
Bilderberg
[edit]I'm a colleague of Anatole Kaletsky's at The Times newspaper, and thus would have a conflict of interest if I edited the article. I do wish to point out, however, that the source the article links to purporting to document AK's links with the Bilderberg Group is not a reliable source. It is a nutcase conspiracy-theory website that has no place whatsoever in a reference source. OliverKamm (talk) 16:36, 25 November 2008 (UTC)
- Then you can confirm that he did attend Bilderberg and can explain why it is never covered in the mainstream press. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Evadinggrid (talk • contribs) 17:10, 25 November 2008 (UTC)
- All you have done with your additional reference to Bilderberg is to add one crackpot far-right conspiracy site to another. Neither of these is a recognised and reliable source, and your comment above demonstrates that you are aware that no such source for your claim exists. The claim should therefore be removed. --OliverKamm (talk) 11:12, 27 November 2008 (UTC)
- You are privilged to be able simply ask him if he attended (you are a reputable source), and if he says he did not attend then I would be happy to delete that sentance and offer a genuine humble apology. Evadinggrid (talk) 15:39, 27 November 2008 (UTC)
- It's not necessary to give an apology, but you do need to remove a sentence for which you do not have a reliable source. --OliverKamm (talk) 16:06, 27 November 2008 (UTC)

Right Wing
[edit]This guy is basically a right wing free marketeer who hates even the welfare state and still thinks american capitalism is the best version out there. It must be the communist dictatorship childhood that made him so right wing and revert to type. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Alpha-ZX (talk • contribs) 13:57, 28 May 2009 (UTC)
That's nonsense. ShedPlant (talk) 21:35, 18 March 2010 (UTC)
