[edit]I think the term "APC/C" should be mentioned. Also, it's misleading to say there are only two forms of APC and that cdc20 and htc1 are contained in the complex. It should be stated that these proteins can be found seperate of APC and bind to APC to drive substrate specificity. I also don't like saying there are two forms because APC can exist without these proteins attached, and because there are probably many more binding partners still to be found.
I also think it would be useful to give the names of cdc20 and htc1 homologs by species. I'll add yeast, worms and humans, but I'll need help with drosophila and xenopus. I'm still new to wikipedia, but I wanted to get a discussion started on this. I'll check back later to make these changes. I'll also add newer reviews.
Its the cyclin which is ubiquitinated by APC/cdc20 and not the cdk itself!!!!!
