I have completed copyediting of this article while attempting to maintain the conventions of Indian English - I'd recommend subsequent editors attempt same. This article could use a closer look by someone with better regional government and educational knowledge than I to fill out the details on the formal names of schools, government offices, job titles, etc. Also, the primary source for much of the biological information is Patel's professional presence website, which seems unstable in both the link addresses, e.g. the profile link from April 2014 was out of date by June 2014, and the site itself. There is also some disagreement between the original writer of the bio information and the sources ("Iron Lady In Waiting" _India Today_) regarding Patel's rescue of a student from the Narmada - the original article claims two students were rescued while the IT article says it was one. The uncited awards section lists two students, which I left unchanged because there is no citation for this award. There also seems to be inconsistency between the terms "river" and "reservoir," which an actual citation for the award could clear up. The addition of sources would be much welcome in this article -- I have tagged several possibilities. Once more information is added, this article could stand another pass through for copyediting for consistency.

The article not just has a blatantly promotional tone, it's also to a large degree copy-pasted or closely paraphrased from some of the cited sources. Other (promotional) parts of the content aren't based on any cited sources at all, at times even when there's a footnote added to the specific statement. This will need some cleanup. I'll probably apply the axe to the page to get rid of the copyright issues; new content can then be added. Huon (talk) 20:35, 21 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]
