Merger proposal

[edit]

I propose that Analogue Bubblebath Vol 3.1 be merged into Analogue Bubblebath Vol 3. I think that the content in the Vol. 3.1 article can easily be explained in the context of Vol. 3. For example, these tracks are all individual reissues from Vol. 3, and the Vol. 3 page already lists reissues. While someone might suggest that the separation of the Analord / Chosen Lords articles provide a counter-example, I would say that those are a vast EP series with a best-of album-length compilation, while later pressings of Vol. 3 includes 3 of the 4 tracks of Vol. 3.1. The timeline is:

1993 Vol. 3 in vinyl and CD (with 5 bonus tracks)
1997 Vol. 3.1 in vinyl, containing 3 of the bonus tracks from the CD and a new track
2002 Vol. 3 in two vinyls with the tracklist of the 1993 CD

As such, it's clear that Vol. 3.1 slots into Vol. 3, not standing fully apart from it. Next, of course, this article is already short enough that it's in danger of deletion. Merging it with Vol. 3 will provide a better justification for keeping the overall information. Akhenaten0 (talk) 15:39, 10 October 2018 (UTC)[reply]
