Assessment

[edit]

Please add references! This article has none, that is the reason why even I think it's only start class. Some English refs and this thing is C, enough refs and here is a B article. Minor issues are, the too short intro, the history section first or directly after the geography and there is no climate section. Nevertheless, very good work. Sebastian scha. That's the problem, apparently there's no English literature whatsoever readily available! Maybe there are some scholarly papers somewhere around, but on a first glimpse, all relevant sources are written in German. But well, that's better than nothing. I'll keep searching for English sources though. De728631 (talk) 12:15, 27 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Add German sources, they are better than nothing. You don't know how many readers might speak German. Sebastian scha. (talk) 14:01, 27 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Alright, we've got a mix of German and English sources now, seven in total. I think that's quite good. I also expanded the introduction. De728631 (talk) 16:48, 27 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]
That's nice. New class C. But there is a new problem triva sections are frowned, maybe it is possible to rename it in media and expand it a little, is there a newspaper? Sebastian scha. (talk) 16:51, 27 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Excellent! I added the paper, but I think you might also want to change the "importance" scale now ;) And there's a map too. De728631 (talk) 17:07, 27 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Huh. The importance scale is a can of worms for me, but you are right Amrum is clearly medium important. The map comment is blanked? This article is not in the category map needed, but I deleted the option now ,-) Sorry, my English is to bad for checking for grammar mistakes and for B there should be more refs, (e.g.) especially the population need a source (My style is: the more the merrier). Sebastian scha. (talk) 17:57, 27 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]
I had already removed the map tag before. Anyway, my work here is done for a while, off to Föhr I move. De728631 (talk) 18:25, 27 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]
