Gazetteers
[edit]@YBG: In this edit I changed the spelling of "Gazetteer" in two references. Both references have working URLs leading to pages that spell the word with double-T. -- John of Reading (talk) 07:01, 6 Janary 2017 (UTC)
- Great! Sorry to have reverted you. Your edit summary made it seem like it might have been a change just because of a spell checker complaint. Having checked the link (which I should have done before) I have reverted my revert. Thanks for your understanding! YBG (talk) 07:41, 6 January 2017 (UTC)
- Thank you for checking. I'm sorry my edit summary didn't give any detail - I usually remember to leave a better edit summary than that. -- John of Reading (talk) 09:30, 6 January 2017 (UTC)

Orphaned references in Amravati district
[edit]I check pages listed in Category:Pages with incorrect ref formatting to try to fix reference errors. One of the things I do is look for content for orphaned references in wikilinked articles. I have found content for some of Amravati district's orphans, the problem is that I found more than one version. I can't determine which (if any) is correct for this article, so I am asking for a sentient editor to look it over and copy the correct ref content into this article.
Reference named "langs":

- From Osmanabad district: 2011 Census of India, Population By Mother Tongue
- From Buldhana district: "Census of India: C-16 Population By Mother Tongue". Census of India Website. Retrieved 10 October 2021.
I apologize if any of the above are effectively identical; I am just a simple computer program, so I can't determine whether minor differences are significant or not. AnomieBOT⚡ 05:01, 12 December 2021 (UTC)
