Original text of Neturei Karta 'anthem'
Obviously my translation is much more faithful to the original than the one on the nkusa.org site. For example, the word "Zionist" doesn't appear anywhere in the real Hebrew version, and it doesn't say "holy Torah", and it doesn't say "we walk" but "we will walk/go" in future tense. And it literally says "and we don't care about their laws". --Piz d'Es-Cha (talk) 08:58, 18 July 2008 (UTC)
Kehal Yereim Chassidim
[edit]I assume this is Mishkenos HoRoim. It's known that he davened there a lot. They hold a yohrzeit tish for him every year (this year, the Govad of the Edah was there, as well as Reb Amrom's son, Reb Uri). Their shul is often known as Kehal Yereim - but I've never seen the chassidim part. However, since they are indeed chassidim (unlike the Litvishe NK) I assume that they are indeed the intended shul. --Piz d'Es-Cha (talk) 09:10, 18 July 2008 (UTC)
Vandalism
[edit]User:Rt4500a has been inserting a claim that "many" believe the subject to have been an Arab. That is, of course, utter nonsense; nobody believes any such thing. He is "sourcing" it to a CNN link that is invalid and has never been valid, because he made it up just now. He is doing this to make a WP:POINT; he removed a valid reference, because the link to the article had gone dead. This was a genuine published article by a well-known and reliable journalist, and was therefore a good source whether or not it was available on the web. But Rt4500a decided that since the link had temporarily gone dead he was going to delete all references to it, and information that was derived from it. When I restored the reference and the information, he immediately responded by coming up with this nonsense and the "source" for it. I challenge him to produce this CNN article, or any evidence for it ever having existed, and unless he can do so I will regard this as the blatant vandalism that it is, and thus not subject to 3RR. -- Zsero (talk) 16:23, 20 November 2009 (UTC)
Halakhic Problems with Blau's second marriage
[edit]It is possible that an injury could prevent that remarriage of a very religious Jewish man. The objection to the marriage was more racist - the bride was previously a catholic - and because of the that fact that Blau was past the age that he could father children whilst the bride was relatively young. I really must check the references to Deuteronomy 23:2; and Shulhan Arukh Even Haezer 5. Benqish (talk) 16:14, 2 February 2011 (UTC)
